A Different Take
The Knights Templar
OK let’s see a virtual show of hands… How many of you have heard of the Knights Templar? – A few right!
How many people have ever wondered if there is a link between Bournemouth and the term ‘old money’? You’d be closer to the truth than you realise.
The Bournemouth Connection
Bournemouth as a town is not particularly old when being compared to either Christchurch or Poole which are both mentioned in the Books of Doomsday (1066). With Bournemouth though, due to it not having any note worthy industrial infrastructure, it as a town has grown up in another way – finance! Over the last 200 years the town has expanded upon the Spa side of life for the wealthy – providing you were not a lonely widow whose husband has just passed – you’d keep the estate…Oh is that too deep?
Women Treated Like Dirt?
The thinking really has not changed in this town in the slightest. Women as a rule are generally held back, treated like dirt by the courts – do I need to go on. For example I have proof that a woman who dared to contest her late fathers estate by attempting to take the evil stepmother to court was in fact saddled with a Land Charge – where none was due or payable. How – easy! A member of the Rose Croix (vile lodge) made an agreement with a corrupt judge to the detriment of the victim. The allegation being made was that said Solicitors bill had not been paid – not true! When a Land Charge is to be levied in theory you have to owe 4 figures not 3. This paperwork can be produced for public perusal…
The Templar Connection
Where is the Templar connection to all this – simple The Rose Croix! This dirty order was founded off the back of Henry 8th (the one who had an awful lot of wives…) This particular lodge was very much into the restoration of the female rule according to their way. All families with money had to comply to their rules if not the estate would some how be removed. Bournemouth along with Wareham, Poole and Christchurch have always had their own rules regarding money.
High Finance
Bournemouth is all about high finance – an economist’s paradise, Poole and Wareham are both maritime and industrial whereby Christchurch has a more ecclesiastical tendency. Watch this space for more…

yeh there are thousands of masons in this town, i managed to stumble across the local masonic directory which basically listed all the masons and masonic companys operating in the area… the book had nearly as many pages as a standerd thompson directory!
thanks for the info on the rose croix!
