Lawful Rebellion In Bournemouth

I have to admit, I was both apprehensive and excited to be meeting with John Harris. My brother Andy had confirmed John’s arrival just hours earlier and my heart had skipped a beat or two at this news. Sure, I had watched a plethora of his Lawful Rebellion videos on the T.P.U.C. website but, to meeting with the man who has become quite a folk hero, both to me and many others, was an amazing opportunity and I was nervous…make that very nervous.
Welcome To Sunny Bournemouth
Here, in supposedly sunny Bournemouth, the weather couldn’t have been much worse. A gale was blowing outside. Torrents of rain driven on by a strong and bitterly cold wind battered the old decommissioned Church. Earlier that day while making my way home after helping out at an Holistic Day event, literally just half a mile from where I live, I was soaked to the bone by a mixer of hail stones and rain. I feared that the weather would keep people away from the conference and the first Lawful Rebellion Conference in Bournemouth would be a disaster.
But, while the maelstrom raged outside the atmosphere inside the church was decidedly warm and friendly. The seats where filling up fast now as more and more weather beaten truth seekers arrived. The church rang with the sound of laughter and everywhere people were in deep discussion about the intricacies of asserting the right to be free.
Enter Jon Witterick
After a few microphone adjustments and a little wait for people to take their seats, Jon Witterick enters onto the stage. To be honest, I was expecting Jon to give a talk on money matters, Jon being the founder of the Get Out Of Debt Free website, but this was not entirely the case.
Jon reminded us that; even with all the current negativity in the news detailing the demise of our seemingly solid economic, governmental and banking systems, that their demise is our salvation from a modern form of slavery.
I know Jon is right. Far from being all doom and gloom, this will be our chance to establish fairer governmental and fiscal systems that benefit the many and not just the privileged few. A chance to rebuild the community’s we have lost and learn to trust in one another once again.
